In this podcast the View Legal team explore the following topic ‘2020 the year in reView’ which was held on 19 November 2020. This podcast is a take out of that session. For access to more webinars and resources join one (or all) of the View Communities.

At least once a week throughout the course of 2020, Matthew Burgess has shared insights in relation to business model iterations, the future of the professions, time billing and many other insights and observations.

In this special event, Matthew reviews the highs and lows from 2020 in what will be a fast paced, thought-provoking and at times likely controversial one hour webinar.

Best of all, the entry price is at one of Matthew’s favourites, namely, free!

Topics will include exploration of the links between the following (as Steve Jobs might say – you will only join the dots after being at the webinar):

  1. Masks, daylight robberies and finding flow
  2. Legal detail, #covid19 and the zombie apocalypse
  3. World domination, Elon Musk and the rule of 7/11/4
  4. Work/life integration, home schooling and responsible parenting
  5. Amanda Rinn, Susan (known as Sue) Ridge and Donald (known as Don) Quay

  • Filing your original trust deeds … in the shredding bin;
  • When the failure to stamp makes all the difference;
  • Using a corporate appointor: All good! … until deregistration
  • When the gifting under a gift and loan back defeats a key purpose of the entire strategy
